Prospects for the Application of Wavelet Analysis to the Results of Thermal Conductivity Express Control of Thermal Insulation Materials

This article discusses an express control method that allows in situ measurements of the thermal conductivity insulation materials. Three samples most common materials, such as polyurethane, extruded polystyrene, and expanded were studied. Additionally, optical organic glasses investigated materials with a stable value conductivity. For measurement conductivity, device, which implements differential local heat influence, was used. The case studies focused on reduction fluctuations measured signals caused by different influencing factors using wavelet transform. application transform for data processing decreased measurement’s relative error glass SOL TF-1 LK-5. polystyrene allowed to reduce twice duration while maintaining same level error. results investigation could be used increase accuracy improving processing. approach implemented software does not require change design measuring equipment or use additional tools.
